The CSU is engaged in a system-wide strategic planning activity called “Access to Excellence”
(ATE). The process is beginning at the campus level to ensure broad, inclusive participation by multiple constituencies and to ensure campus-specific issues will be considered in the revised CSU strategic plans. The CSU ATE steering committee has developed six “domains of needs/opportunities” with scope for campuses to emphasize campus specific issues.
The CAFES Assessment Committee has provided leadership for the college by serving as domain discussion leaders for college-wide open forums, inviting participation of all faculty, staff and students in the college. Open forum domain discussions took place during the week of Feb. 12 - 16, 2007. Following the college-wide forums, domain leaders met with the domain representations from all colleges across the campus during the week of February 19 - 22, 2007. At the conclusion of all these meetings, the CAFES Assessment Committee reconvened to review and summarize the major strategic issues for our college.
